Bell Helmets - Interbike 2009

Bell had their 2010 helmet collection on display at the Interbike show in 'Vegas. Inside we have a closer look at their Faction skate lid, the great looking Drop fullface helmet, and a new all-mountain oriented lid, the Sequence! With new artwork by both Jimbo Phillips and Paul Frank, all these lids look great. Video inside giving you the rundown on even more helmets as well!

some of the simpler graphics look good. but the random designs with faces and junk on them look really bad. i wouldn't be caught dead wearing most of those.

But what if i dont want skulls / blood / bones / zombies on my helmet? The best one there is the moto style drop. I really dont like big designs although bell helmets are good I think. Giro have gone all fancy too Im not a fan. Luckily I have just bought a THE One in camo so I'm happy anyway Smile

Couldn't agree more, it's so hard to find a helmet that doesn't have either dead things or strippers on it and that isn't completely boring (Though the manic and the Gracia are ok). I do like big loud designs, but just wish they would tone down on the dead stuff.

you said it. cool designs are great...bright colours, cool graphics, etc. but all these zombies and demons and eye-popping creatures are kinda gay

I'm not very down with all the helmet companies putting all these designs and pictures on their helmets. it was all about like single coloured helmets like a straight up black remedy.

Are you kidding me? It is about time the mtb industry gave us graphics and colorways to choose from. We are years behind the snow, skate, surf industry as far as colors and graphics go. Down with the all black!! Yeah for over the top graphics!!

Most high end MX helmets are getting lighter and more vented every year and MX helmets are better,i broke 2 MTB full face helmets so no more MTB full face helmet for me.

wow from the front the Sequence looks exactly like the Variant but then from the side view you notice that they made the Sequence a whole lot uglier

Same here. I swear there was another article on bell helmets not too long ago. Their logo's STILL ugly to me. Cheap-looking, which is why I don't buy them.

Progressive Retro. Jim Phillips designs made a huge impact in the 80's in skateboarding, Jimbo's designs may not make the same splash in Mountain Biking, but it is cool that they are trying a new look for the helmets.
